Compact and cost effective, the Biomek NX/NXP workstation integrates virtually every aspect of liquid handling–repetitive liquid transfer, serial dilution, dispensing and integration–into a single, automated system that fits almost every budget and any lab environment. As a standalone instrument with a number of ready-to-run protocols or linked through automation, the Biomek NXP can take on a wide variety of repetitive liquid transfer tasks at varying throughput requirements while offering operators the flexibility to automate more complex methods. Eight-probe, 96- or 384-channel pipetting
The NXP Workstation accommodates multiple configurations, including multichannel, Span-8 and Span-8 with an optional gripper. Multichannel system options are available with 96- and 384-channel pipetting heads for rapid plate-to-plate applications and assay miniaturization.
Precise pipetting performance accomodates low-volume reaction setups and assay miniaturization, guaranteeing accurate and repeatable results well into the submicroliter range. Pre-programmed pipetting techniques can be used for various volume ranges and to enhance liquid handling capability. Enhanced X-, Y- and Z-stability delivers reliable results for small volumes while a dedicated pump auto-purges air from the lines.
360° Rotating Gripper for maximum workflow flexibility
With the ability to rotate a full 360°, the optional gripper provides access from the left, right or from integrated devices on the back of the instrument.
Open-frame design offers future vertical workspace where space is an issue
With an intelligent open design, the Biomek NXP simplifies the integration of plate readers, washers and other storage devices with the flexibility to position to the left, right or back of the instrument.
